Gossip

Ted was walking through a grocery store with Tim. They started talking about Sports and how some teams were having a hard time winning and other teams were dominating in Football. As Ted, picked up some Fuji Apples, he glanced over at a lady who reminded him of one of his friends named Sally. He then turns over to Tim, and says, "Have you heard that Sally cheated on her boyfriend, and they aren't even married!" Tim, looked over to Ted with a stern look, saying, "I am sorry Ted, but I do not want to talk about this. Can we talk about some more positive stuff?"

What Ted did was called Gossip, and it is a terrible thing to do! Gossip is negative talk about any person whether you know them or not. You see we can talk about the performance of a single player or a team, but when it gets down to information that very few people know about, or about negative information that the other person can't confirm that it is true or not then it is Gossip. Gossip can be about anything negative, when you start thinking about it.

You see, the Bible also talks a lot about gossip and how deadly it can destroy relationships, whether your in the business world or not. And also, another very negative thing is called Holy Gossip. Holy Gossip is when you ask people to pray for a specific person and you tell them the specific reasons why they should pray for them in a negative way. Its like this. Please pray for Greg because he is abusing his wife and hitting his children. This is very negative! Instead, you can say, "Please pray for Greg because he is going through some problems in his life, " or something like that.

Ephesians 4:29

New King James Version (NKJV)
29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

Devotional: Learn something new

This is what I wrote in the OLGA (Online Gamers Anonymous) Community.

Proverbs 1:5 (New King James Version)

Proverbs 1:5

New King James Version (NKJV)
A wise man will hear and increase learning,
And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,

I encourage you to read a book today, and learn a lot on your favorite topic today, because that is how we are going to grow in this world. You know, we can't just keep doing the same old thing every single day. We have to learn something so that we can grow, and change ourselves for the better every single day.

Prayer:

Higher Power (Lord) Help me to learn and do your will today, and every day. Help me to grow in you and be like the wise man who will hear and increase in learning. Help me to be a man of understanding who will attain will counsel. Help me to increase in you every single day. Help my fellow OLGA buddies to quit their gaming addictions and to find you. In Jesus Name, Amen!

Challenge Question:

What can I learn today that will help me feel and be like a wise humbled man today?

What can I do differently today that will help me defeat addictions in my life?

Melchizidek

Who is Melchizidek? Was he a person or an angel on the Earth? Is he another Arch Angel other then the Arch Angel Gabriel? These and other questions have bore my mind in as I tried to study up on this question in the Bible and by prayer. But, let me tell you what I found out about him.

This is just my idea of who is Melchizidek and it could be all wrong, but I am not going to study up on it more as it is only meant to be answered in Heaven.

When Jesus Christ died on the cross, he went down and took the keys of Hell and made it possible for people to go to Heaven. After, Jesus came out of Hell , he came back to Earth to be with his disciples one last time. Then he rose up to the Heavens, and then he went back in time to be Melchizidek to give everyone hope that they can go to Heaven. He was always serving the Lord 24/7. He never died so he is either still living today or he was taken into Heaven.

Here is a scripture of Melchizidek serving the Lord in Abram's age.

Genesis 14:18-20

New King James Version (NKJV)
Abram and Melchizedek

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him and said:

“Blessed be Abram of God Most High,
Possessor of heaven and earth;
20 And blessed be God Most High,
Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.”

And he gave him a tithe of all.

__________________________________________

So it all is a mystery, and probably will never be answered until we get to Heaven! God Bless you!

Fasting

This topic is a very important subject to cover, because it will help you reach places that you never reached before. Well, why is this the most important subject and why should I fast. Am I going to get anything out of this? I tell you that you are going to get more then what you asked for.

When you fast for a particular thing or you fast to grow in the Lord, then strongholds start falling down all around you. Strongholds like fear, rebellion, shame, and guilt. Family, work, friends, and Spiritual issues start falling down to the ground, because when you fast then you are humbling yourself before the Lord. You are saying spiritually, "Ok, Lord, you are in control!" The Lord wantrs you to fast.

When I started fasting a while ago, then I all of a sudden I get this feeling that I want to serve the Lord more. Also, an issue that was out of my control just disappeared and the Lord blessed me so much! It also humbled me too.

Isaiah 58:6

New King James Version (NKJV)

6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?

So, the Lord even says it in the Bible too. I have found so much scripture in the Bible that it is unbelievable. But, I would like to challenge you to fast for a specific reason and see if the Lord changes a situation in your life. The Lord is all powerful and he has unlimited power so I know that he will change your life for the better. I love you all and God bless!

Don't be so quick to judge

Within the last few weeks, the Lord started showing me that I was judging a lot of stuff. I was judging my family, my friends, and even the church. I was assuming and saying stuff that were not true. You know the Lord talks a lot about judging others. He said in Matthew 7:1-5,

Matthew 7:1-5

New King James Version (NKJV)
Do Not Judge

7 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

We can't just assume stuff with people. It is wrong and very deadly, because when we die and go to the throne of judgement, then the Lord will judge us to the measure we have given others. According to the dictionary, judging someone means to make a mental judgement. That would mean that when you make a mental judgement then it changes your entire decision process about that particular thing, or person to corrupt thinking. So, ask yourself, whether you are judging someone or not.

Prayer

Is prayer a monologue or a dialogue? Is it a set structure that you have to pray every single day? Is it just reading a set of words every single time that you pray? I used to think that all of these questions were statements. I used to think that I had to ask the Lord for forgiveness every single time that I pray. Well, this was a fear in my life that I have destroyed. But, let me tell you what prayer really is.

It is a free flow relationship with our best friend, the Lord Jesus Christ! Just think, how would you treat your best friend? You wouldn't always say sorry to him and ask for forgiveness. You wouldn't say a set dialogue to him every single time you see him. No, you would want to get to know him better. You would want to hang out with him. You would do everything you can to increase your relationship with him.

That is what we have to do with our Lord! We do not just get down on our knees to pray. We can raise our arms, leap for joy, bow down to him, and more. We can meditate, sleep, watch sermons, read a spiritual book, and even go on walks. It says in Philippians 4:6

Philippians 4:6
New International Version (NIV)

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

This verse has grabbed at me, because I have been dealing a lot with fear. So, when I have a fear, or start worrying, and being anxious, then I can start praying. Someone from my church told me that fear and prayer cannot be combined, which means that whenever I start worrying then I can start praying. That is so awesome!

I have 2 articles that you can read to further study what prayer is.

Meditation

A few years ago, I started learning about meditation and how it relates to the Bible. I used to think the meditation is only thinking about the Lord. Wow, am I so wrong. Just a few days ago, I started reading more on meditation and how it is used in the Bible. I didn't even know that you can meditate on verses and that will greatly help you memorize verses, because I think that it is God that is quickening your memorization as long as you meditate on them too.

Psalm 23rd is a good chapter to start memorizing and meditating on.

Psalm 23
New King James Version (NKJV)
The Lord the Shepherd of His People
A Psalm of David.

23 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

In verse one you can think the Lord being a shepherd having outstretched arms coming toward you. He starts giving you a lot of gifts that you had needed, then you start running toward the Lord in tears. He starts caressing you as you bask in His presence.

Isn't that a sweet thing just to imagine the Lord all day long and the verses in the Bible. Its just a sweet thing! Now go to verse 2 and start meditating on it and go on to the next verse after that. You might meditate on things for a few minutes to a few hours. Awesome!

God Bless!

Is Sleep important?

Is sleep important? That is a very good question. Lots of times we just stay up to the wee hours of the morning thinking that we are being productive by finishing some work or studying for a big exam the next day. Well, let me break the ice. Sleep is the number one thing that we need in our life.

Did you know that when you are sleeping then our body is creating new cells, reproducing the information we have seen or processed in our heads during that day, and making us more alert toward the next day? Yes, this is what the brain does every single night of your life. If your brain doesn't do this then you will never grow, or learn anything. It will just disappear. That is why it is so important to sleep!

Also, there is a Spiritual side to taking a nap or sleeping. Did you know that when you are sleeping that you are in constant communication with our Lord? This is so true because the Lord is molding our body and especially our brains while we are sleeping. Its probably the only way other then a miracle during the day time where he can work on our brains. God is miraculous! So if you think that you are not praying enough at night, then relax. Go to bed, and be assured that you are in constant communication with the Lord all night long when you are sleeping.

P.S. Of course, in rare circumstances, you can be fully awake, and praying all night, and the Lord can still give you a full nights rest. Pretty cool!

Love you and God Bless!

Words to leave us trapped!

There are six words that can leave us trapped in bondage throughout out lives. Those words are Should, ought, if only, and what if. If you use these words anywhere then you are setting up a boundary for yourself and other people. You will destroy friendships this way!

I have experienced this throughout my life and now the Lord is helping me to destroy my fear of what people are thinking about me, so I would like to give him the praise! All of these are fears that will control and ruin your life. They will waste your time, and resources. They will create all different kinds of fears in your life.

Isaiah 41:10

New King James Version (NKJV)

10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

God loves you so much that he doesn't want you to ruin your life through fear! I hope you won't. God bless!

Buying too soon?

Have you ever bought something too soon or just because you just wanted too and then you found out you ran out of cash or should have never bought it? Well, I have the answer for you!

Whenever you are about to buy something then ask yourself a question. Do you really need that item or not? For example, if you went to buy milk, I know that you wouldn't buy gallons on gallons. You would probably buy 1 or 2. But, what about pop? Do you really need a better computer too soon?

Psalm 37:7-9 (NLT)
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.

So, next time you have a lot of money, spend it wisely, because that is God's money you are dealing with!

Resting in God again!

Well, it looks like I have finally gone through my trial. I had been going through a relapse of gaming addiction. Now, I am finally falling back into God's grace. After, the trial and I finally had taken my laptop over to my moms place and I am going to keep it there, then I received a phone call. Lifetime called me and they are going to give me a 7 day pass to the club. I mean that was the perfect timing, because I love swimming, and relaxing in the hot tub.

I also wanted to say that I am praying everyday again and I am reading my Bible once again. I even forced my self to church even though I didn't want to go and God met me there. He touched me beautifully. The Lord has also given me a lot more business and I really can't believe how much computer work he is giving me. All I can say is Thank You Lord!

Blog Facelift

I have just given my blog a face lift! What is new is below each post you can share the post. I also added my favorite blogs which are blogs of what is happening with my family. Also to the right will be the top 5 or 10 posts of the blog. Hope you like it!

Keep on going!

James 1:2

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

I had been going through a trial for the last 2 weeks. It was a relapse of a gaming addiction. It was so difficult, I thought I should just give up and play video games. But, then my mom said that when you fail, then get back up and keep going. Because the Devil wants us to not get back unto our feet and stay in shame and regret when we should be getting back on out feet and stomping on Satan's head.

King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

That means we have victory over Satan and his trials that he puts over us to try to knock us down and keep us there. But, we can get back unto our feet and keep on going!

Going through a relapse!

Here is a link of another blog that I have on being an excessive gamer. It is about me going through a gaming relapse! The link is below. Thanks!

The Flesh is weak but the Spirit is willing!

Matthew 26:40-42
King James Version (KJV)
40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

The Flesh is weak but the Spirit is willing! This is something I had begun to understand a little more over the last few weeks. It all began a week and a half ago when I wanted to do things that I wanted to do. I started to cast aside praying and reading the Bible. I started playing computer games again which was an addiction in my life. It started eating at my Spirit, and I started wasting so much time on gaming. For two whole days I went to buffets and started porking out.

All this to say that my flesh was weak, and I was not doing anything to control my spirit. Yesterday, I realized that we are in control of our lives and it affects us, and other people around us. Whether they be our friends, family, or complete strangers. I was a mess, but now I am coming out. I just wanted to give the Lord the Glory for his mercies! Thank you God!

Tithing or Giving?

Warning: This subject is confrontational on Tithing. Thanks!

Tithe means giving the first 10 percent to the church. It also means whenever you get your paycheck then you must give the first 10 percent or you will not be blessed. I used to think that this terminology was true, but now I find it a Yoke of Bondage. I don't want to offend anyone, but I have to get my point straight out on this subject. Nowhere in the New Testament does it tell us to tithe a certain percentage to the church.

Many of you might say that the Old Testament has tons of verses on tithing 10 percent, but when Jesus died on the cross then he said this:

Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill."

Jesus came to fulfill the law, and tithing was part of the law in the Old Testament. Now don't get me wrong, because I am going to give out of the goodness of my heart. It says in the Bible that God loves a cheerful giver. So, please study this subject and see if I am true about this and if I am not then you can leave a comment below.

But ever since I did this, I feel so much happier to give to where I feel that God wants me to give to. Whether it be my time, money, or anything else. I am a happy man, and I won't be reverting back.

Not Works but by Faith

Over the weekend I went to St. Louis to a Pastors Appreciation thing that was happening over at a church. This church that I went to on Sunday treated me like I was going to preach at their church. I did not preach, but they treated me like how they would treat God if he came to their church. One of them told me that he is so blessed for taking me to the Bus station and dropping me off although it would be a 60 mile round trip for him. I asked him why he is so blessed to take me to the station because it would eat his car up. He told me before that he never had a car and his friends would always take him to work for free. That is just amazing to know about another church that has all the Brothers and Sisters taking great care of you as a Brother in Christ. It just made me think about my own church.

Anyways, I wanted to talk about a very important lesson that the Lord has taught me. He has taught me to not do things out of Works but by having faith. There is a clear difference in doing things out of Works for the Lord. The first reason is that you are doing Works to try to get people to like you. Stop getting people to like you. If you were doing stuff for God out of Faith then you would have the right kind of people liking you and more doors would be open to you.

The second reason is that you do them after the Flesh. You just want to do them so you can accelerate the process of being used faster for the Lord. Wrong! This will never work and your just wasting your time. God will put a roadblock up so you will never get to where you are going. God wants to use you but first you must be led by Jesus in order to be used.

I want all of you to be used by God, but I cannot force any of you to do anything. But I am warning you about these two methods that you should not use. Thank you so much and God Bless!

Plan a budget!

Its been 6 months since the Lord has deeply my business, but I had one problem that had me worried a lot every week of every month. I was worried about finances even though my finances was enough for me every month. It took a toll on me and I made an attempt to destroy my fear by going through a bible study called "31 days to Freedom from Fear." It only helped me destroy my fear of anxiety but it didn't destroy my fear from finances. God would even bless me with more money then I should have every month but I still had that fear that I was using up too much money or that I was going to run out of money quickly.

Not Anymore!

Ever since I had placed a budget on my finances, my fear of finances has gone out of my life. The Lord has removed this fear and I want to praise him because of it. I suggest you do the same so you can have peace of mind every single month, and that you are very confident that you will never run out of money as long as the Lord is blessing you each month. The Lord bless you as you get financially free from the bondage of fear of finances.

I am active again!

I just wanted to say that I am deeply sorry for being inactive in my blog. I just had a family reunion for the last week or so and was inactive. Now I am going to start up again in my blog and am going to have several blog updates this week about some cool stuff about what the Lord is doing in my life. Stay tuned! Thanks for understanding!

Spiritual Malnutrition

A normal human being eats about 3 meals a day, and sometimes eats a snack or two on the side in order for their body to survive that day. They also have to drink between 9 to 12 cups of water every day in order for their bodies to maintain healthy every day. Well, what about our spiritual bodies? How do these two facts link to our spiritual bodies? Well, our spiritual bodies need basically the same amounts of energies to cleanse our spiritual bodies of all the wickedness and sin that is in our world. It also re-energizes our spiritual bodies so that we can grow in God and have a better link between us and the Lord. We start feeling the Lord in supernatural ways as like we are some kind of super hero.

We need to pray as much as we eat food daily, and I don't mean a simple prayer. I mean a prayer as much as 15 minutes in the day. We need Jesus more than the worldly things of this Earth, because whatever we store up in Heaven will be there forever. We also must read the Bible daily or we might become what they say, spiritual malnourished. Too many Christians go to church every Sunday, and Wednesday, and they don't even have a prayer life. Oh, I pray that whoever goes to church would have an effective prayer life, because we need revival. We need to build a spiritual stronghold around our lives and around our family lives. If you haven't watched the movie below about the "Call to Anguish" then you need to watch it. May God Bless you!

Freedom from Fear

A few days ago I started a program that is called the "31 Days to Freedom from Fear." I started it because I started worrying a lot at night about different things about what I said to a person or how I should have done things a little different. I started worrying about past events a lot. I probably wasted an hour every night worrying about stuff. So I started this program because I believe that I can break free from fear that is keeping me in bondage. You can check out the program in the link below:

Let God baptize you in Anguish!

Anguish! It is an inner deep pain about situations, or problems in you or around you. When you are in prayer about souls around you, whether they be your friends, families, coworkers, or complete strangers, then you start developing anguish inside your soul. Your heart starts hurting as you have a deep burden for souls. This has happened to me. I started asking the Lord to give me anguish, and to start baptizing my soul in anguish, and he has done it. I mean this is for real. My inner soul started hurting as I continued to weep before the Lord. It is the best thing I have experienced as of yet.

But, this I ask you. Start asking the Lord to baptize you in anguish. Start having a burden for souls around you, because the Lord is coming really soon. I do not know the hour nor the day, year, etc. but I do know that he is coming really soon. I implore you to start preparing for his coming at this very hour. We are in the End Times right now.

I want you to watch this video below me about David Wilkerson preaching about the Call to Anguish! You can either watch the short version or the long version of his message. They are both very powerful and will touch you all the same! God bless you!

A Call to Anguish

This video stirred me up so much, that I fell on the floor weeping in tears! Please watch this video, because it will stir you up too!

Sleep Debt

For around 20 years, I did not care about sleep. It was not a priority because I always had bigger priorities in my life. Whether the priorities are work, personal, or church goals, sleep was on the bottom of my list. Well, now that is about to change as this past week I have affected a lot of people in a negative way because of my sleep deprivation. All this to say is that sleep can affect you and even shorten your life if you don't use it wisely.

If you lose a lot of sleep each night, then its most likely that you won't be able to link up to your Spiritual Master during that day. Even if you prayed a lot, fasted, and even read your Bible, you will hardly even feel the Spirit in your life. It happened to me a few times where I tried to feel the Spirit of God in me but just could not feel anything in my heart. There are a lot of negative things you can get when you do not sleep, so I stress that sleep is very important if you want to effectively be used by God.

One God

Just a few days ago, I was doing Outreach in Chicago and a man pointed to the Bible. He pointed to Genesis 1:26 which says

Genesis 1:26

King James Version (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

This week, I am going to start studying that one verse to see what Jesus was really saying. I want to get your opinion of what you think Genesis 1:26 really means.

I told the man about Isaiah 9:6 which says

Isaiah 9:6

Amplified Bible (AMP)
For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.
A woman gave me this verse to me and said that she really believed about the Trinity until she started reading this verse. She started reading it over and over, because it stirred her whole heart up. This verse only talks about One God, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and the the Prince of Peace! I feel like leaping for joy!

Hospital Update

I was admitted into the hospital about a week ago, because I needed to go in for testing on my brain waves. During the 2 day stay, I started to get Spiritually weak, because Satan was trying to attack me at my weakest point, that I was afraid that the Lord wouldn't heal me. So I started praying, and the Lord gave me enough strength for the 2 days! The Lord has helped me get through this small situation and I am better then ever. I know the Devil can attack you at your weakest points, but all you have to do is fight back with the Word of God that is implanted in you. Open up the bible, and start reading random verses. Trust me, this will work. Also, pray and fast too, because these are also extremely important things to do in your walk with God.

Here is a video to a link that you should look at and it will explain everything that happened and how the Lord is healing me!

God over Business

I was thinking about what I should put into the blog that will inspire people and the Lord gave me a thought.

I have a question for you. Do you put Jesus over your business? Well, you ask, "How do I put Jesus over my business?" Its a good thing that you asked because I am going to answer your question. So how do we do it? Well, the last month I decided to put Jesus over my Business in a way that I have never thought about before or because I was too scared to do it. I started witnessing to people. I started telling people about the Lord Jesus Christ and how He died for our sins. I didn't even care what people were thinking when I serviced their computer because I put it in the Lords hands. I even witnessed to them whenever I went to there houses.

I want people saved right at this very hour because we do not have that much time left. I do not care about achievements in this world nor do I even care about my computer business. We should care about the Spiritual Realm and care about souls. My mom told me that we should do so much for Jesus that people around us think that we are crazy.

Anyways, the second thing we should incorporate into all of our businesses is that we should Tithe all business profits to the Lord! Tithe means 10% in the dictionary, but we should give more then just 10% to the Lord. We also should treat every customer like we should be treated. Think how would Jesus treat them? He would take off his shoes at the doorway, and treat the person with respect. He would also be very honest and loving to the customer. A lot of businesses don't do this  and thus they are struggling in this very economy. If we incorporate what the Bible says and put it into our businesses then our businesses will be booming while other businesses aren't.

God is blessing my business so much that I am always having customers and I have a Full Time job opportunity at another computer shop! God will bless your business if you put him first!

Discovering @#!*% 's Best Secret

I received The Way of the Master by Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort. This is the best witnessing lessons that I have heard from thus far. I wanted to tell you the second lesson out of the Basic Training series. It is called Discovering @#!*% 's Best Secret. Did you know that 80 to 90% of people who make a decision for the Lord in Modern Day Evangelism will become Backsliders? It just doesn't work. There is only one type of Evangelism that will totally work, and that is called Biblical Bible Evangelism! It's the way Jesus evangelized, and it is the number one way to get people saved. For example, if there was a huge and exciting crusade and 300,000 people got saved, then only 15,000 people would continually walk with Jesus! That is sad because people are really only getting saved with knowing that Jesus is a Gushy God, who will always bless you and give you tons of money if you tithe. This is not right! Now in the Biblical Way of Evangelism, in the same crusade, if 300,000 people got saved then the backsliding rate would be moderate to extremely low. I would say between 150,000 to 275,000 would continually follow God if we did it the Biblical Way!

So what is the Biblical Way? Well, lets go to Mark 10:17 where a very rich person came up to Jesus.

Mark 10:17-22

Amplified Bible (AMP)
17 And as He was setting out on His journey, a man ran up and knelt before Him and asked Him, Teacher, [You are [a]essentially and perfectly [b]morally] good, what must I do to inherit eternal life [that is, [c]to partake of eternal salvation in the Messiah’s kingdom]?
18 And Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me [[d]essentially and perfectly [e]morally] good? There is no one [[f]essentially and perfectly [g]morally] good—except God alone.
19 You know the commandments: Do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.
20 And he replied to Him, Teacher, I have carefully guarded and observed all these andtaken care not to violate them from my boyhood.
21 And Jesus, looking upon him, loved him, and He said to him, You lack one thing; go and sell all you have and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come [and] accompany Me [[h]walking the same road that I walk].
22 At that saying the man’s countenance fell and was gloomy, and he went away grievedand sorrowing, for he was holding great possessions.

So, Jesus corrected the man then gave him the first five commandments. He then told him to go sell all he had, give it to the poor, and follow Him. He used a principle! The principle is telling people the disease before the cure. Its like a doctor telling you that you need Aspirin and he never tells you the disease. Now, we would think that the doctor is nuts and shouldn't be a doctor in the first place! The doctor first needs to say that your pain will go away when you take the Aspirin! Now, you would be grabbing the Aspirin with all gladness. It says in Romans 3:19-20, Romans 7:7, and Galatians 3:24 that the Law shows we are dirty and need a Saviour! We need to know that we are Sinners before we need to know how to go to Heaven!

Meditation + Worship = New Levels

Wow, am I so shocked as to what happened to me last night during the service that happened at Calvary UPC! It all happened when we were all worshiping Jesus when Gateway Bible College was singing on stage. When I was just normally singing and worshiping the Lord, then all of a sudden I started meditating on the song for no reason. I was meditating and worshiping all at once which was totally new to me. Then all of a sudden Gods presence hit me in new ways that I have never felt before. The Lord had taught me something new and now I just wanted to encourage all of you to do the same thing. Just start meditating on the words while your worshiping the Lord! I will guarantee that the Lord will touch you in new ways too. Whenever I am at home and I start worshiping the Lord to a song and start meditating then the Lord does it over and over again. The Lord is so awesome, and I will worship him upon hours and hours each day!

Kudos and Thanks to Adam Finley to inviting me and to Pastor Labat and his family for everything!

Start moaning and groaning

Today, I was at church and Bishop Horace Smith preached on the verses from 2 Corinthians 5:1 - 5.

2 Corinthians 5:1-5

Amplified Bible (AMP)
For we know that if the tent which is our earthly home is destroyed (dissolved), we have from God a building, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Here indeed, in this [present abode, body], we sigh and groan inwardly, because we yearn to be clothed over [we yearn to put on our celestial body like a garment, to be fitted out] with our heavenly dwelling,
So that by putting it on we may not be found naked (without a body).
For while we are still in this tent, we groan under the burden and sigh deeply (weighed down, depressed, oppressed)—not that we want to put off the body (the clothing of the spirit), but rather that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal (our dying body) may be swallowed up by life [[a]after the resurrection].
Now He Who has fashioned us [preparing and making us fit] for this very thing is God, Who also has given us the [Holy] Spirit as a guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise].
_____________________________________________________________

This means that if there was a picture then somebody must have drawn the picture, and if there was a house then somebody must have built the house. So if there was a human being like you and me then there must have been a Creator which is the Lord Jesus Christ.
And, when we want something really bad then we moan and groan for it so much that we cry, "Abba, Father," which is in Romans 8:14-17. When we cry Abba then he has to respond to us because He loves us so much! Well, this was only a small excerpt from the preaching today, so I hope this really encourages you to pray to God and call him, "Abba."
