Pride

There are 2 verses that have caught my attention in the Bible!

Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV)

12 There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.

Proverbs 16:25 (NKJV)

25 There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.

Somewhere in the beginning of Genesis, or before it, Satan felt that his way was the best way instead of the Lord's way. Satan had a lot of pride that it ate him up, and he still haven't dealt with it. Then the Lord threw him out of Heaven along with tons of rebellious angels that became demons.

We, too, can have pride, and it will slowly eat us out, that we don't even notice it unless someone else tells you about it. Boy, am I happy that we have brothers and sisters who care about us.

Why would the Lord have us write two of the exact same verses in the Bible? It's because pride is the greatest of all sin, just above adultery. We must be very careful about pride, and deal with it whenever it comes up. We will only realize that we have pride when, someone points it out in us, whether it the Lord, or man.
.

Exodus 20:3  (NKJV)

“You shall have no other gods before Me.

Here is a link on an awesome article I found!

We can make anything our god. We can even make ourselves a god, which will result in the Lord literally throwing us into the pit of Fire for eternity! Have you prayed for humility today?

The Daniel Plan Chapter 2 - The Essentials

Luke 10:27 New King James Version (NKJV)

27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’[a] and‘your neighbor as yourself.’[b]

God's love is so strong that it will change people's lives forever. We have to fully commit our lives to him, so that He will transform our lives from the inside out. One way we can do that is by looking at Daniel's life. We think that when Daniel was pleading with the Chief of the eunuchs about not eating meat, that the Lord transformed Daniel's life along with his 3 friends into miraculous perfect healthy people, but this is wrong thinking, and is not logical.

You see, Daniel committed his whole life to the Lord in all areas of his life. This included his physical body. So you ask me how he would be able to do that? Well, here are 5 key areas that we are going to look at.

1. Faith
2. Food
3. Fitness
4. Focus
5. Friends

Daniel had great faith in the Lord by seeking the Lord. This is more then just praying everyday. When you are seeking the Lord, you are trying to find more info about him, talking to him, and fasting all the time. I wouldn't fast every day, but I would say the minimum is once a week.

Daniel also ate the right types of food. He didn't eat any meat, but ate vegetables. Let me ask you 2 question. Does eating meat tear you down? Does eating vegetables build you up?

We also have to do exercise every day, but why do I have to exercise every single day? I mean, whenever I do, then it gets boring and a waste of my time, Well, in later chapters, I am going to show you how to transform your mind into thinking fitness is fun.

Philippians 4:8 New King James Version (NKJV)

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there isanything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

We have to allow the Lord to transform our minds, so that whatever is coming into us is coming out of us. If you listen to negative stuff, then you negative stuff will come out. If you listen to positive stuff, then positive stuff will come out.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Value of a Friend

Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor.

Finally, we also have to have friends in our lives who will build us up especially, when we are exercising. I would not recommend exercising unless you are doing it with someone else. There are some people who can exercise by themselves, but this is the minority of people.

So, think about these things, and God bless!

The Daniel Plan: Chapter 1

I started reading the book called "The Daniel Plan," and this book is all about how to make your physical body set apart for the Lord. You see, the Lord loaned everything to us in this world, even our physical bodies, and he wants us to be stewards of our bodies, our wealth, our belongings, and everything else.

1 Corinthians 6:12-20 New King James Version (NKJV)

12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.”[a] 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[b] and in your spirit, which are God’s.

There are many people who are not taking care of themselves. They either play video games which is a rapidly growing trend, and I do play it sometimes. But, they also get addicted to video games, play it non stop. There are also many other addictions like alcohol, drugs, and even overeating.

Many people think to quit their addictions is that they have to use willpower to quit out of fear or guilt, but the Lord wants us to quit out of love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New King James Version (NKJV)

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
______________________________________________________

Love is perfect, but I still go back to my video game addiction. If I do that, then I have not grasped what love truly means. I will start praying to the Lord what love means and to help me grasp it. Have you totally grasped what perfect love is?

Prophecy about America Rebelling against the Lord

A few months ago, the Lord spoke through me about America. I didn't want to show it to people because I was afraid about what they might think about me. Well, recently the Lord came over me and is now constantly reminding me to post the audio clip of a prophecy of America rebelling against the Lord! Please watch and share.

MyHealth90 review - Initial Day to 30 days

A month ago, I believe the Lord wanted me to go on MyHealth90 which is a health weight loss that is not a diet but a lifestyle change. Their website is MyHealth90.com. My diet before was hardly eating any fruits and vegetables, and eating non-gmo frozen yogurt multiple times a week. I attended a buffet at least 1 to 3 times a month. I hardly exercised in the fall and winter, but I exercised a lot last Summer and the year before.

As I went on the MyHealth90 plan, I received daily videos, with a phone call once a week for the first two weeks. 2 weeks after that, I haven't received any phone calls except after I initially made the call. I am exercising a lot more which is a plus, while juicing twice a day, although I missed some days. The plan makes an emphasis to go vegan as the coaches don't want you to drink milk. I drink milk as long as its grass fed milk, and also eat eggs as long as the chickens are organically grain fed, and living on grass.

The plan also had meal planning which is nice for some people, but doesn't fit well with me. I stopped doing the meal plan, because it was too complicated for me. I called the coach, and they said that every person is different, and he would see about getting me back on meal plans, maybe. Matt Maddix, who is the main coach also says you have to drink at least half a gallon of water a day which is completely understandable. Matt also talks about Affirmations which I personally don't get, but I understand that it would benefit other people.

I have list 3 to 4 pounds so far making my weight 179 from a weight of 182 to 183.

My overall rating so far is 7 out 10. We will see if that rating goes up toward the end of 90 days as the business just started. They did change up the meal plans for people so that it is a lot better.

Passive to Active Listening

Mostly all my life I used to passively listen to people which meant that when people talked, I would listen to them but wouldn't give verbal feedback back. This created several problems. I wouldn't hear everything that the person say, or the person talking would end the conversation early, because they would think that I wasn't listening to everything they were saying, This resulted in a lot of light relationship statuses where people knew about you, or I knew only their names and a little about them through other conversations. This made me feel empty socially. I wanted to get to know more about people.

Therefore, I prayed and asked the Lord about this, and the Lord showed me through my sister that I needed to actively listen to people. I then went on YouTube and found some videos on actively listening to people. I then used that skill at college, and I found out a whole lot more about people then I normally would. Also, the conversations seemed to go a lot longer then normal. I felt great and I give the Lord the glory for helping me learn this crucial skill in getting to know people. Also, I can remember peoples names better through active listening! Here is a video below that I found effective on this topic.
